Over the last two decades, Subhra Das has played stellar roles within telecom companies in Europe, Middle East, Africa and India. He has held CEO and 5 CMO roles within the telco industry and has been a lead executive in 6 telco start-ups.
In the ME region Subhra is credited with having played a key role in du’s ascent to 45% market share and 2.6 Billion USD in annual revenues within 5 years from start-up stage in 2007. In 2014, Subhra was founding CEO of Jawwy-STC in KSA where he conceived and rolled out the first full digital mobile operator in MEA and South Asia region- a model that has been emulated by telecom operators in various countries and regions. He was also Chief Commercial Officer for Ooredoo, Oman during 2013-14.
As Chief Marketing & Digital Officer of Lebara Group, the leading MVNO in Western Europe, Subhra looked after operations in the fiercely competitive telecom markets of UK, Germany, Holland, France, Spain and Denmark. Other CMO roles were in Nigeria and India. He pioneered launches of prepaid services in the late 90s for Vodafone, Romania, and Orange, Egypt.
Subhra has also founded 3 start-ups. His latest venture is aladdin.life, which is being launched in December 2019 as one of the world’s first AI powered aggregator and marketplace for telecom and media services.
An engineer by training, Subhra is an alumnus of Harvard Business School, Boston and the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He is also an avid guitar player in jazz/blues/rock styles and holds a Masters Certificate in Guitar from Berklee College of Music, Boston.
Martin is an accomplished global executive in multiple industries who brings exceptional skills in both effective innovation and business development / strategic partnerships.
He has been successful with global leaders such as Visa and Vodafone, and with start-ups as CEO/CXO. Martin's responsibilities have exceeded $2 billion and 1000s of people, and his international acumen comes from hands-on work in over 20 countries.
Two notable examples are: he founded Visa’s Collaborative Innovation Program combining industry-leaders with start-ups to create practical innovations, and that was responsible for the innovations and leadership as COO that created the most successful of Vodafone's subsidiary companies – achieving the fastest to $1 billion in revenue, fastest customer growth to 1 million, and highest profitability margins – all achieved in the country having the lowest GDP/capita.
Martin is an alumnus of Stanford University, concurrently earning an M.B.A. and an M.A. in Education.
Ayman is an accomplished international senior sales and marketing commercial executive with extensive P&L management and sales and marketing leadership experience in Europe (UK) and the Middle East (UAE and Egypt).
His previous tenure includes as Chief Sales Officer in Etisalat (the largest telco in MEA]. Ayman was a key sales leader and was a significant factor that led to the the successful transformational turn around in an attacker (du in Dubai) and an established incumbent (Etisalat).
Ayman’s work experience include Vodafone in Europe and IBM in the GCC region.
Ayman”s sales leadership of over 2000+ direct and indirect sales teams includes B2G, B2B and B2C and all the retail outlets with sales responsibly of about US$10B annually.
Currently AYMAN serves as the CEO, board member and advisor to many emerging and start up funds and companies in the MEA region.
Ayman has a BSc in Electrical Engineering from Ain Shams University in Cairo and a MBA in Marketing and International Business from The American University in Cairo.
Additionally Ayman is an executive alumni of the IMD Business School in Switzerland.
Ted Katagi is an accomplished senior international commercial executive with extensive strategic, operational and P&L experience in telecoms, technology and private equity companies in. The USA, Europe and Japan.
Ted’s former stints include as the EVP of the Enterprise Busienss Unit in Japan Telecom (now Softbank) and Chief Marketing Officer of Vodafone Japan a US$16 B revenue company. Ted was also the Global Director of Commercial Strategy for Vodafone Group in the UK. Additionally, Ted was a senior managing director of Devonshire Investors (a Fidelity private equity firm) in Tokyo.
Ted is also a founder of Kenja a major collaborative solution provider in Japan. Ted is also an active mentor and advise to numerous start ups in Tokyo, Japan.
Ted’s other previous stints include AiTouch, IBM, Verizon and AirTouch in San Francisco, California.
Ted has a BA in Economics and Computer Science from University of California, Berkeley and a MBA in General Management and Entrepreneurial Management from Harvard Business School
